The initial product is based on a developed imaging software technology for advanced blood flow analysis from computed tomography (CT) scans of the heart. While CT cannot measure blood flow, our technology can process clinical-standard CT images to retroactively calculate the flow field – opening the door to a new modality in the field of blood flow diagnostics. In the clinical verification process, an extensive need for improved blood flow analysis in the field of atrial fibrillation and stroke risk prevention have been identified and verified identified by the team and partners.
Blood stasis quantification
Cordicity delivers the world’s first fully automated, cloud-native platform that processes CT scans to quantify left atrial blood stasis — a proven stroke predictor. Results integrate into hospital PACS as interactive visualizations and functional reports. The SaaS model distributed via PACS vendors and imaging platforms enables rapid global scale with minimal infrastructure needs for the hospitals. The product also enables various user-interactive scenarios which gives the user a borad set of disease scenarios to support risk stratification and treatment plans.
